Easily Meet Web Content Accessibility Guideines
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has stated that all state and local governments must comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards by April 24, 2026. Are you prepared?
There are three levels of conformance:
- Level A is the minimum level.
- Level AA includes all Level A and AA requirements. Many organizations strive to meet Level AA.
- Level AAA includes all Level A, AA, and AAA requirements.
At Delta, we test representative pages/page types of your site. While testing, we document scores, errors, why it’s an error, and how the issue is to be addressed. Based on the results, we are able to separate any issues into “Site-Wide” or “Specific” and create action item tasks to address them. Updates are then completed from those lists. The goal is to address as many issues with as few updates as possible. Then, we would move into the more complex and specific items.
The end result is that you’ll have great documentation, which you will be provided copies of for your records, to show the compliances met and we’ll also list out any persistent issues or things that may need to be addressed in other ways, like feature or functional changes.
